Why I Suddenly Went Vulger In New Song – Falz

Rapper-cum-actor, Folarin Falana a.k.a Falz the Bahd Guy recently had a listening party for his fourth studio album, Moral Instruction, which was released on January 15, 2019.

The event attracted the high and mighty in the entertainment industry including Sound Sultan, Adekunle Gold, Mr. Eazi, DJ Lambo, and Big Brother Naija stars like Tobi Bakre, Bassey, Kemen, Ifu Ennada, and many others.

Fielding questions from select journalists, the son of human rights activist and lawyer, Femi Falana, opens up on the motive behind the album and other issues.

When asked why he used the “F” word in his new album, he replied:

In my entire career, since I have been making music since 2009 till date, I have never used the word ‘f–k’ or ‘motherf–ker’. Everyone makes art in their own manner, but on this album, I said it three times because I was angry.

It took me a very long time; when I listened to the concept, I said ‘this thing cannot be changed because that is the only way we can portray that anger’. I have clean versions for every single song, there is a radio version that’s very important, but that raw version where the real emotion is being portrayed, you can’t tamper with that.

Condolences poured as Nigeria Fuji music star Kwam1 loses wife to illness

Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marsha popularly known as Kwam1 or K1 de Ultimate, has lost one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe

According to reports, the singer’s wife died in the early hours of today from an undisclosed illness.

The 65-years-old has been laid to rest at Abari Cemetery, Lagos in line with Islamic traditions.

Speaking on her death, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA chairman, described the deceased as an excellent woman and loving mother. He noted how her time spent on earth was a good service to God and humanity

Addressing the family and her supporters, he said their prayers were with them and urged them to find the strength to continue where she stopped.

Ibadan Stampede: Court Reveals Date to Hear Oriyomi, Naomi, School Principal’s Bail Application

Oyo High Court has revealed plan to decide on bail applications filed by ex- Queen Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hazmat and Fasasi Abdulahi on Monday, 13th January, 2025.

The court commenced the hearing of the bail applications filed by Hamzat, Naomi, and Fasasi on Tuesday amid tight security.

Counsels to the suspects had filed summon of Application for bail before the court.

Their applications were heard at Oyo state High Court, Court 8, Ringroad, Ibadan on Tuesday.

Justice K.B. Olawoyin after listening to the submission and arguments of the Counsels at the points of law adjourned the ruling on the bail application till Monday, 13th January, 2025.

The suspects are currently being remanded at the Nigerian Correctional Centre Agodi on Holden charge.

The suspects were represented in the Court by Alhaji Waheed Olajide, Musibau Adetunmbi, (SAN) and Adekunle Soba loju, (SAN).

BBNaija: No Regret Saying No To Frodd – Esther

Former housemate in the Big Brother Naija, Pepper Dem edition, Esther Agunbiade, told Entertainment Jamboree that she did not regret saying no to Frodd when he asked her out.

According to Esther, she said, in as much as I am very happy for Frodd, I did not regret turning him down when he asked me out then. Frodd needed me so seriously when we were in the house, but I declined it. He thought it would be more easier for him after we left the house. After the show, I maintained my stance by telling him that I am not interested. I cherished how he hustle his way to be successful in life, because he is successful with happy family too. However, there’s no regret at all turning him down, because my man is also a successful business man.
