Maid’s Reproductive System Damaged After Madam’s Torture

The reproductive system of a 12-year-old girl, Faith Nwanja, who was allegedly tortured and mutilated by her mistress, Mrs Nkechi Bartholomew for being too stubborn has been seriously damaged.

The revelation was made, yesterday, by the Ebonyi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, while briefing journalists on the development. Nwanja, was tortured, mutilated and abandoned by Bartholomew.

Bartholomew, a childless woman and seamstress adopted Nwanja and took her to Onitsha, Anambra State, when she was eight years and allegedly disfigured her.

The woman allegedly inserted sticks inside the girl’s private parts which have caused her serious damage to the reproductive system. Nwanja has shocking scars and injuries all over her body, including eyes, mouth, head.

She also has bloodied mouth and has lost one of her hands to torture. Briefing journalists yesterday, Head of Department, Child Development of the state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Godwin Igwe said the health condition of Faith has worsened.

“The child has been undergoing medical examination by team of expert gynaecologists, a team of orthopaedic doctors, a team of expert opmologists because of serious harm inflicted on her reproductive system, her hand, her ear, her teeth all over.

Last week, her medical examination was concluded and the hospital management said the report will be released to the police as soon as it is demanded”, he said. Igwe accused the state Police command of refusing to arraign the suspect.

I Was Expelled From School Because Of Fela Kuti – Movie Director, Andy Boyo

Renowned movie director and patron of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Andy Boyo, has shared how he was expelled from school because of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Fela, a Nigerian artist and political advocate, passed away in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1997 at 58

Fela is seen as the main creator of Afrobeat, a Nigerian music style that mixes West African rhythms with American funk and jazz.

Boyo, however, is preparing to bring the iconic life of the Afrobeats legend to the silver screen in a much-awaited biographical film.

After three years of planning, Boyo has obtained the rights to the music and is ready to begin filming in Nigeria, the UK, and the US in 2025.

Rumours suggest the high-profile movie will have an extensive cast, including 27 actresses portraying Fela’s wives.

Boyo, recognized for his successful films such as “Untamed” and “Spirit of Assassins,” will also direct, write, and produce the biographical film.
