London Derby : West Ham Dents Arsenal’s Tittle Hope
Arsenal and West Ham played out a supremely entertaining 3-3 draw in a London derby that left neutrals ecstatic.
West Ham sit fifth in the Barclays Premier League table while Arsenal are third as both teams look to seal up European Qualification.
A win for West Ham would have seen them draw level on points with Manchester city while Arsenal would have stayed second regardless of the result.
The match started quickly with Arsenal taking the initiative as Iwobi provided a brilliant assist for Ozil’s sublime finish.
Iwobi was again the provider as Sanchez scored again to put Arsenal 2-0.
West Ham looked to be staring at certain defeat until Carroll rose to head home and reduce the deficit.
Carroll struck again to make matters level before half time. In the second half, West Ham kept pressing with Dmitri Payet’s brilliance as their inspiration and it was only a matter of time before Carroll had his hat trick to take the score to 3-2.
Arsenal looked out of sorts in a thrilling encounter and had Koscielny to thank for saving them blushes as he scored the equalizer.
