Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has opened up on her challenges and struggles with depression and how she overcame them.

Bukky Wright, during a discussion with media personality and comedian Teju Baby Face on the Teju Baby Face show, spoke about her battles with depression.

She disclosed how she was on depression medication to help curb the killing issue.

She revealed that her children had to step in and help her overcome the problem.

The versatile actress gushed on her children, calling them her first critique and pillar. She stated that she loved them all her life, and the same was reciprocated towards her.

Bukky Wright noted that her children urged her to stop stressing out and take time to have fun.

She said, “There was a time when I was depressed. Yes, I was taking depression antidepressants. But my children had to wean me out of it. They have always been my number one critique.

I don’t know if I could call my children my pillar of life and they know that I would love my life for them.

So, they tell me, hey, Iya, you have been loving your

life for us; now it is time to live for you. Enjoy yourself and have fun…”

Nigerian music icon, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, has been declared missing by his family after leaving for his routine morning walk on February 10, 2025, and not returning home.

The Idibia family has petitioned the DSS, expressing concerns over unusual posts from his social media accounts soliciting funds, raising fears of abduction.

Amidst the turmoil, 2Baba’s mother, Mrs. Rose Idibia, has voiced her disapproval of his ties with Edo lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru, attributing his actions to his ongoing divorce from Annie Idibia.

The family pleads with the public to provide any information on his whereabouts.

Oyo High Court has revealed plan to decide on bail applications filed by ex- Queen Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hazmat and Fasasi Abdulahi on Monday, 13th January, 2025.

The court commenced the hearing of the bail applications filed by Hamzat, Naomi, and Fasasi on Tuesday amid tight security.

Counsels to the suspects had filed summon of Application for bail before the court.

Their applications were heard at Oyo state High Court, Court 8, Ringroad, Ibadan on Tuesday.

Justice K.B. Olawoyin after listening to the submission and arguments of the Counsels at the points of law adjourned the ruling on the bail application till Monday, 13th January, 2025.

The suspects are currently being remanded at the Nigerian Correctional Centre Agodi on Holden charge.

The suspects were represented in the Court by Alhaji Waheed Olajide, Musibau Adetunmbi, (SAN) and Adekunle Soba loju, (SAN).
