A certain Prince Ovivare, who allegedly defiled a neighbour’s four-year-old son (names withheld), is being investigated by officers at the Aguda Divisional Police Station, Lagos State. It was learned that the incident took place, Wednesday afternoon, when the boy returned from school.
He emerged from the neighbour’s room, when his mother called him, only to reveal that the suspect “put his wee wee inside my bum bum.” According to the victim’s mother,
“normally, my son stays in the Headteacher’s house after school, when I am not through with my work. So when we came home, I gave him food and bathed him. After sometime he said ‘mummy I want to go outside and play’. Since I was still busy with cleaning, I allowed him. “After sometime, when I did not hear his voice, I came outside and shouted his name. He ran out from a neighbour’s room. I asked him what he was doing there. He said Brother Prince was kissing him and put his wee wee inside his bum bum. I checked my son and he had some bruises on his buttocks.
“I rushed to Aguda Police Station. They took my statement, asked my son questions and he kept repeating the same thing. Then police referred me to Mirabel Centre at Ikeja Teaching Hospital. “The next morning, I took my son to Ikeja and the doctors did some tests. After examining him, they confirmed he was indeed assaulted. “At the hospital, they gave me some drugs and said they should make sure that the suspect is arrested. I went back to the station and came with police to arrest him.
“I want relevant agencies to come to my help for justice. I need justice for this wickedness done to my child. My son is traumatised. He told me the suspect said he would kill him (my son) if he told me. “I have not been able to sleep for days now. I cannot even eat. How could this human being be this wicked?”
Vanguard gathered that the victim and his mother live alone as his father is not in the country. Confirming the incident, Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the case was reported and that the boy was taken to Mirabel Centre by the mother and the IPO. She said the suspect, Prince Ovivare, is in custody as police are awaiting the result of the test from Mirabel Centre. Meanwhile, the case will be transferred to the command’s gender desk today.

Time To Sanction Wike Has Come, He Has Touched The Tiger’s Tail- Atiku’s Camp

Published

on

For daring to call for the expulsion of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, the camp and political associates of the former vice president has moved against Nyesom Wike, asking the NWC to discipline him.

They described Wike as a serial betrayal who formed the group of five governors that committed series of anti party activities against the PDP during the February 25 presidential election.

Director of Research and Documentation of the PDP Presidential Campaign, Dr. Pedro Obasike said,

“Wike coming out to ask for the expulsion of the number one leader of the party and the presidential flag bearer of the party and the recipient of the mandate of the Nigerian people as declared in INEC’s submission that we won 21 states and asking Atiku to be expelled from the party, Wike has crossed the red line and now, he should be ready. He has all the money to fight us back because we are coming at him like a thousand bricks.

“He has unleashed the dogs of war and we will not sit back and watch him ride rough over the party and majority of Nigerians like he did for 8 years over the humility of the Rivers people. That can no longer suffice”.

He also challenged Wike to publish his bank account when he assumed office as a governor and after his eight years tenure as the governor of Rivers state.

According to Obaseke,  “Wike is a member of the APC, a sitting Minister of an APC government. Wike openly campaigned against the PDP. You see, by their fruits, we shall know them. By all intents and purposes, Wike is not a member of the PDP’ .

“If you remember clearly, just a few months to the election, Barrister Nyesom Wike, then the governor of Rivers State ran to the court to get an injunction to preclude and stop the PDP from expelling him from the party. If he was so untouchable and bigger than the entire party machinery, why did he do that? Whether we like it or not, Wike is Satan lieutenant.
